Privacy Policy for MyHab

This Privacy Policy describes how MyHab (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) handles your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

When you use MyHab, we collect and store the following information so the app can function:

• Account information: your email address, used to sign you in via a one-time code (magic link). We do not store passwords.
• Profile information: your chosen display name and any in-app credit balance.
• Habit data: the habits you create, when you mark them complete, and your streak history.
• Room data: the items you purchase and where you place them on your farm.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, microphone input, or any data beyond what you actively enter into the app.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in
• Save your habit progress and game state across devices
• Display your data back to you

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing.

How We Store Your Information

Your data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com), our backend provider. Supabase hosts the database and handles authentication. Communication between the app and Supabase is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). For Supabase’s privacy practices, see supabase.com/privacy.

Notifications

If you grant permission, MyHab schedules local reminder notifications on your device to remind you to complete your habits. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server, and we do not collect a push token.

Third-Party Services

MyHab uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — backend, authentication, and data storage
• Expo — app delivery and over-the-air updates

We do not use advertising networks, analytics, tracking SDKs, or social media login providers.

Children’s Privacy

MyHab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data — visible in the app at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data — contact us using the email below
• Export your data — contact us and we will provide a copy

If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
